West Sussex Pupil Entitlement Fair Access Team is seeking two new managers to continue and enhance their delivery of its statutory responsibility of ensuring vulnerable children are suitably placed in education.

Our responsibilities include giving advice and guidance on the exclusion process, ensuring a fair distribution to schools of pupils meeting the Fair Access Protocol, assessing and managing referrals for alternative provision and monitoring the pupils attending our commissioned alternative provisions.

This is an exciting opportunity for those either who have established experience as a manager or those who are seeking to make the next step in their career development. Ideally you will have some knowledge or experience of working with schools and in partnership with other agencies.

Our high performing team is passionate and dedicated to positive outcomes for young people. As a team member you will demonstrate strong communication skills, commitment, ability to prioritise, make decisions, problem solve, all with due regard to statutory guidance.

You will be based in the seaside town of Worthing, located at the foot of the South Downs, but you will be required to travel across the county. You will be given the opportunities to develop your knowledge and expertise, both within the team and by accessing CPD.
