About the Role & Firm

The entire makeup of the firm is different. The way you will be operating with clients; the opportunities for career development, without the glass ceilings; the way you'll work closely with Partners, rather than work for them. Even the salary and remuneration on offer outweighs the Big 4.

As an Indirect Tax Associate, you'll be the equivalent to an Assistant Manager in the other firms and the role will include:

• Handling a diverse range of indirect tax / VAT queries that will drive forward your technical competence for complex UK and cross-border issues
• Your clients will vary, enabling you to continue developing a broad VAT knowledge. Key areas of focus will be dealing with land and property VAT queries, partial exemption, transactions and due diligence, international VAT, restructuring, M&A, and insolvency
• You'll be utilising your research skills via legal databases, HMRC guidance, and legislation, enabling you to bring new technical insights team
• With your enthusiasm and commitment to learn, you'll be put on a clear path for progression from day one
