Business Development Manager
You love sales - the thrill of the chase, negotiation and winning, plus the fat bonus cheque at the end of the month. Winning new business is what drives you. You have a little black book full of public sector contacts that you can tap into.
API, I.P, collaboration platforms, intelligent content management solutions, Web technologies are all things you are all too familiar with, having probably sold them previously.
So what does the job involve?
Selling obviously!
You'll be able to build business from scratch, sometimes you'll be passed leads but most of the time you'll be researching your own potential customers within the public sector. You'll be building strong relationships with clients, understanding their issues and challenges they face and providing solutions for their needs.
Presentations are a doddle to you, you like nothing better than standing up in front of clients and getting them excited about your solutions.
Negotiating complex terms and agreements should be part of your day to day tasks.
What are we looking for?
·Proven sales history is a given; you take pride in achieving targets, probably within the technology or digital space.
·You're a solution consultant not a one trick pony; someone who can identify the client's needs quickly & effectively and provide a comprehensive solution for them.
·You can write – yes write! – professional professional business emails and compelling proposals
·You have experience of working within the public sector – after all that little black book isn't for nothing!
What's in it for you?
·A real opportunity to rapidly develop your career – this company take pride in developing their team; they're on the "best companies to watch list".
·Competitive base salary - you're worth it!
·Uncapped commission scheme
·Unlimited earning potential, sales development, and mentorship
