Claims Handler, SW London / North Surrey. Up to £30,000 plus bonus.

Working for this property claims management company you will be responsible for assisting customers with their claims from first advice through to settlement.
Arrange with insurers to appoint an adjuster, arranging a meeting with the company surveyor at client's property to assess and scope damages. Receive detailed reports and prepare cost schedules for building work, submitting these to insurers.
Liaising with insurers over the phone, via email and in writing, recommending reserve where appropriate.
Negotiate scope of works and costs with loss adjusters to establish a suitable settlement figure.
Work closely with contracts and the customer throughout the life of the claim ensuring works carried out meets clients expectations.
Keeping all clients updated during the progress of their claim and deal with any concerns or queries that may arise.

Candidates will need;
Extensive experience handling household claims, with experience on the scheduling of building works and a good understanding of how to put together a scope of works.
You will have excellent written and communication skills.
Customer focused and driven.
Very well organised and able to work well under pressure.
Able to communicate clearly and possess excellent negotiation skills.
