Are you interested in a Health & Safety Manager position for a fast growing and prestigious food manufacturer based in NW London? This is a day shift position reporting into the Factory Manager, Monday to Friday 0830 to 1700 paying up to £40,000.

We're seeking a leader to become this manufacturers Health and Safety Manager who is comfortable leading a team within a fast paced manufacturing environment. This company can offer you genuine autonomy and opportunity to challenge and change current operations and make a difference. The management have been implementing a cultural change with great success and fundamentally they seek a manager who has integrity, resilience, is forward thinking and really wants to improve and develop the Health and Safety Operations forwards at this site.

So what will I be doing? You'll be a key advisor to the site management team, influencing the sites Health & Safety performance. You'll be able to review all existing practices, make change where necessary and implement new procedures as appropriate. As H&S Manager you must share H&S best practice at site and group level and support the site audit programme.

So what do I need? Proven experience of being accountable for Health and Safety within a manufacturing environment is fundamental. Relevant Health and Safety certifications, i.e NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent qualified. A really positive attitude and someone who wants to genuinely implement change – this is a big opportunity to ensure better practices are introduced throughout the factory. This role will suit a hands on manager who leads by example and has a day to day positive approach – employees who clock watch need not apply!
