This is an exciting new position within a top 10 accountancy practice at their head office in London. The firm are hiring a Monitoring Trustee Manager in a specialist position within their Forensics Services team.

This niche role would suit either someone in a similar position currently, or someone with relevant experience in a related specialism seeking a more international and corporate focused opportunity. Every case is individual, so every day in this job will be different!

About the Role

• Working closely with multinational corporates, up and coming SME's, and startups looking for top 10 firm backing
• Frontline involvement with large EU and UK mergers and acquisitions
• Recent cases include working with a leading international household name, one of the largest in their field
• An opportunity to move away from a more traditional accountancy position
• Balance market investigation work with providing guidance to corporations when dealing with competition authorities
• Expose to a variety of sectors
• Day to day participation in commercial disputes
• Working closely with the Corporate Finance team
• Continual training on competition law

About You

• Should be ACA or ACCA qualified. CFq will also be considered
• Likely working within an accountancy practice, within transaction, competition or divestiture services
• Forensic services, audit & assurance and corporate finance are also relevant areas with transferrable skills
• Background in an economics role within a Competition body will be considered
• Must have proven managerial experience
• Familiarity with mergers and acquisitions is essential
• A commercially focused character with an investigative nature
• Motivated by variety with great attention to detail
• First class presentation and communication skills
