A global professional services firm are recruiting an Accounting Assistant to work in their specialist Structured finance services (SFS) team. You will be based at their London head office (EC4A), a short walk from City Thameslink station.

Working in a varied and certainly busy role, you will support a small yet established team responsible for providing accounting services to a portfolio of SPV (special purpose vehicles)/SFS clients.

About You:

• Actively studying and part qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA; study support available
• Current or recent experience gained within an accountancy firm
• Competent bookkeeping skills looking to gain and further your experience in a professional environment
• First class communication skills with a passion for client care

There is a full job description available for all shortlisted candidates with selected duties to include:

• Preparation of cash analysis and posting to ledgers
• Monthly book-keeping including entering sales and creditor invoices
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts for clients and providing information within agreed deadlines
• Assist with preparation of statutory accounts, VAT and corporation tax returns
