Care Assistant – Permanent position

Full time, 36 hours per week

£9.18 per hour

I am looking to recruit up to six Care Assistants on a full time, permanent basis at a specialist service in Tooting, London.

The home is a purpose-built, 56 bed care home, specifically designed to enable older people to live independent, happy and fulfilling lives. Within the care home there are facilities for 16 rehabilitative care beds for older people, recently discharged from hospital and 16 beds for residents with dementia.

Ideally NVQ2 qualified (although not essential as full training can be provided) you will be dedicated to improving the lives of older people and will embody the care and dedication expected of all care teams.. You will enjoy creating a nurturing and welcoming environment for all residents and other service users, ensuring that older people are respected, honoured as individuals and are cared for with dignity, respect, kindness and understanding.
