Due to expansion of this digital solution provider based in Woking we are looking for a Social Media and Marketing Executive to deliver a comprehensive range of services. As part of the larger group they have a wealth of experience in the online and digital world.
YOU will be energetic and enthusiastic, a social media ninja who will help build and maintain the online community. You will have a passion for all things social media, from Twitter to Facebook, a flair for creative writing and a keen eye for design and slick presentation. Twitter feeds should be provided in your CV with LI profile.
The Social Media & Marketing Executive is responsible for achieving greater customer engagement, brand awareness and revenue, by driving customer engagement, website traffic, exploiting all aspects of social media marketing.
Duties:
- Build and execute the organisation's social media strategy
- Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (text, images, video).
- Build and share content that encourages community members to take action.
- Pro-actively collaborate with internal teams to find and promote content to support marketing activities.
- Continuously monitor and improve customer engagement and brand awareness
- Capture and analyse the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices
- Provide weekly and monthly reporting on the progress against social media strategy and objectives.
- Work with the team to produce news articles, win stories and case studies
- Regularly update and maintain website content in order to increase and develop the online presence
- Working closely with sales and design teams to deliver effective communications.
- Produce effective writing and editing for the web, design and site management.
- Ownership and management of all exhibitions/events (Internal/External).
- Market research and competitor analysis.
Desired skills and experience
- Knowledge of marketing and digital communication channels (Google, SEO, Social Media)
- Knowledge of web design
- Good IT skills in Excel, Adobe Creative Suite, Word, Outlook and CRM systems
- Good understanding of sales promotion and direct marketing strategies
- 2 -3 years proven work experience in social media or related field
- Excellent consulting, writing, editing, presentation and communications skills
- Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
