Contract Renewal Manager - Technology

£37,000 + 24% flex benefits

A Company based in Woking are looking for a Contract Manager EMEA to join the team. The Contract Manager will be responsible for responsible for the Region's end to end maintenance renewal process.

Skills required:-

  • Requires BS/BA degree in business or related field with 3 years' experience in sales of products and services, preferably in an after-sales care environment.
  • Minimum of 3 years of formal sales experience, preferably in an after-sales care environment
  • Experience selling into a territory or customer portfolio in a matrix environment where accounts or territories are owned or shared with other sales team members
  • Proven ability to establish client relationships
  • Ability to effectively problem solve complex contractual & commercial issues
  • Self-motivated and pro-active, used to working standalone in a matrix remote team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to draft contract amendment for submission to internal legal counsel & customer procurement.
  • Ability to operate in a multi-cultural environment with an understanding of business and decision process in different geographic territories

Duties will entail, but will not be limited to:-

  • Responsible for revenue management, account retention and commercial risk management within assigned contract renewals portfolio.
  • Draft amendments and complete contract reviews for submission to the legal team and the customer.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current customers in the assigned territory/market segment to retain and develop additional revenue from existing contracts for the organization's services.
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with Account Managers of customers in the assigned territory/portfolio in order to collaborate and deliver the renewal and account sales strategy.
  • Manage the contract renewals process to include: negotiation of pricing and contractual terms, drafting and gaining customer and internal approvals of renewal agreements, creation & presentation of upsell propositions;
  • Provide internal justifications for discounts or offers by demonstrating an understanding of the relevant commercial risks and financial principles such as revenue recognition.
  • Keep current on market conditions and competitive activities that may affect the contract portfolio.
  • Report monthly on contract renewal performance to Regional & Global leadership and work with Regional finance to assist with monthly and annual financial forecasting
