About the Role

As part of the Council’s recent Orbis initiative it is expected that the maintenance team will provide professional design services within the borders of both Surrey County Council (circa 600 properties) and East Sussex County Council (circa 150 properties). The portfolio includes office buildings, libraries, fire stations, rural land, care homes and many other types of asset. Our service delivers everything Property; designing new buildings, managing, maintaining and adapting existing buildings, acquiring and selling land and property, and managing tenancies, leases and other agreements.

In order to fulfil this requirement we are looking for a Graduate Quantity Surveyor.

To assist in delivering this key area of work, we are looking for someone to join the team. To be shortlisted to interview your application will clearly evidence:

- Knowledge of the legislative framework covering construction works. - Experience of contract management (NEC and JCT). - Work within a supportive team environment. Additional Information

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
