EVENTS FUNDRAISING CO-ORDINATOR

Woking

£10ph - Immediate start for 3 months until September 2017

Up to 37.5 hours a week (may include some evenings and weekends)

We need a committed, enthusiastic and highly-organised Events Co-ordinator for a 3-month full-time temporary contract role, to start immediately.

You will support the Events Manager to:

• Co-ordinate our challenge events programme, recruiting participants and supporting the sponsorship processes
• Maximise the charities profile at challenge events
• Work effectively with volunteers to deliver fundraising events
• Develop relationships with existing participants to engage, motivate and retain them, and to increase their relationship with the charity.

You will have:

• A confident and friendly manner, in person and on the telephone
• An ability to quickly understand and use database packages
• A flexible and hands-on approach to delivering a busy and highly-varied role
• Ideally 2 years of experience in a busy office environment, with experience in a fundraising or charity environment an advantage
• online marketing and use of website and social media to support events promotion is desirable but not essential
