Led by an ambitious research and development strategy, an opportunity has arisen to appoint a full-time, Senior Lecturer in Psychology on a permanent basis as part of a continuing strategic initiative to strengthen and expand research and teaching in the Department.

Candidates for the Senior Lectureship should have a strong track record of research in any area which complements current research in the Department, evidenced by successful independent research activity including publications in peer-reviewed journals and potential for securing external research funding.

Working with the Psychology staff team and students, you will among other activities, make a key contribution to designing, developing and delivering new and existing undergraduate and post-graduate Psychology programmes. You will also contribute to our vibrant research culture and excellent student learning experience.

Ideally, candidates will have a broad range of research methods, knowledge and skills. You must also be able to demonstrate innovative, effective and inspirational teaching and learning for students at undergraduate level. You will be committed to ensuring that our students are well supported and enjoy their experience with us.

The successful candidate will be pro-active, enthusiastic and enjoy working as a member of a small team.
