You've been in recruitment and had enough of the sales; looking for a new challenging position where you can still be responsible for recruiting and resourcing staff.

Perhaps you've specialised in recruiting for the financial services industry or just fancy a completely new sector, in-house?

What will this job involve?

  • Build strong relationships with the hiring managers over 2 offices, you'll proactively resource, and develop succession planning.
  • Provide advice on job descriptions, salary levels and benchmarking.
  • Respond to applicants, source candidates and telephone interview.
  • Build the employer brand on sites involving recruitment including the company website and Glassdoor to enable direct sourcing and reduce recruitment costs.
  • Responsible for identifying recruitment agencies which may support the process and agreeing terms.
  • Coach line managers with interviewing techniques for both telephone and face to face interviewing.
  • Maintain and review the recruitment policy
  • Manage the on boarding of new employees and induction
  • Manage the probation period appraisal and performance review calendar
  • Report on key recruitment metrics and cost evaluation
  • Conduct exit interviews and provide recommendations

What do you need to have?

  • Experience of working as a recruitment consultant or in-house recruitment.
  • Experience of identifying high quality candidates through direct sourcing.
  • Experience in liaising with recruitment agencies,
  • Experience of managing a selection process, including organising and conducting telephone interviews.
  • Experience of on-boarding candidates such as reference checks, credit checks etc.
  • Confident influencing and liaising with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Confident having challenging conversations such as candidate rejection.
  • Working knowledge of HR procedures relating to recruitment and onboarding.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook

It would also be beneficial if you have had experience of some of the following:

  • Financial services recruitment experience.
  • Experience of agreeing & negotiating terms and managing a PSL with agencies.
  • Previous involvement in designing and implementing a recruitment strategy.
  • Experience delivering recruitment campaigns from start to completion.
