Sales & Lettings Administrator

Fed up with estate agency hours? Want to work 9-5 Monday to Friday? Experienced in lettings or sales of properties?

A local organisation who work very differently to high street estate agencies required a Sales & Lettings Administrator.

What will you be doing?

  • Managing the database, ensuring all letting property details are correct
  • Attend Handover meetings to enlist new properties to let
  • Liaising with third party Agents and Landlords for the purpose of marketing, viewings and negotiations
  • Negotiating all offers with the Agent on behalf of the Landlord
  • Arrange new tenancy agreements, references, check in arrangements, checking funds, complying with regulations including checking compliance certificates as necessary Gas safety, Portable Appliance Test, Smoke detectors are all in place.
  • Sign off completion off all new move ins.
  • Negotiating rent increases with Landlord at renewal stage & Issuing renewal documentation
  • Agreeing with BDM's which agents to instruct to market new sales
  • Instruct valuations on property and update Landlord
  • Instruct marketing once price agreed with Vendor
  • Update the Vendor & on a weekly basis as to any feedback
  • Receive all offers from Agents, obtain relevant details then pass over all information to the Business Development Team to propose the offer to the Client
  • Once agreed the Sale is agreed then progressed by Business development admin.

What do you need?

  • Strong administration experience
  • Background in either lettings or sales negotiations
  • Good communication skills
  • Understanding of lettings and sales market
  • Ideally have worked for an estate agents
