Aldingbourne Trust is seeking to recruit a new registered manager to work with two of our existing services. Both based in Bognor within a 5 minute walk of each other, one is a Transition service for young people with learning disabilities and or autism, and the other independent living again for people with learning disabilities and autism.

The Transition service is newly opened and is working with young people who are at college locally.  Typically people living here will be supported for 1-2 years before moving on.  The independent living service offers support to people living in their own homes, including personal support.  As a result of this you will need to be willing to register with CQC as a manager and therefore experience of CQC regulations will be of benefit.

Staff in both services are committed to enabling people to live a full and varied life traditional styles of support are not the norm here so you will need to show a commitment in developing this approach and challenging stereotypes of what 'care' is. We support the Gr8 Support Movement, and we want whoever is appointed to model this to staff and people we support.
