Led by an ambitious research and development strategy, an opportunity has arisen to appoint a 0.2 fte Senior Lecturer in Humanistic Counselling on a permanent basis as part of a continuing strategic initiative to strengthen and expand research and teaching in the Department. Working with the Counselling staff team and students, you will among other activities, make a key contribution to designing, developing and delivering new and existing undergraduate and post-graduate Counselling programmes. You will also contribute to our vibrant research culture and excellent student learning experience. Candidates will be practicing and qualified Humanistic Counsellors who have experience of offering Humanistic Counselling Training within Higher Education settings. They should ideally have knowledge and/or experience of a broad range of teaching and research methods. You must also be able to demonstrate innovative, effective and inspirational teaching and learning for students at undergraduate level. You will be committed to ensuring that our students are well supported and enjoy their experience with us. The successful candidate will be pro-active, enthusiastic and enjoy working as a member of a small team.
