Finance & Operations Manager | FMCG Retail Startup

Are you looking for an autonomous, all round role within a dynamic and high-growth startup? This business are looking for their first Finance & Operations Manager following a period of impressive growth. This role puts you at the heart of this small team, where you'll have a huge impact from day 1. You'll have day-to-day contact with the founder and play a key role in developing processes and structures within the business.

The ideal candidate is a motivated all rounder who likes to challenge the status quo and get stuck in. This is a fantastic chance to make a real impact in an early stage startup and small, but growing team. Whilst you'll need some finance, bookkeeping and operations experience, this role is all about personality and drive.

What you'll be doing..

• Completion of day-to-day bookeeping, creating invoices and credit control (payables and recievables)
• Supporting the founder in delivering management reporting
• Maintaining product and supply chaindata sets
• Oversight of sales figures across all customers
• Managing invoicing for customers and tracking payments
• Collation of sales data, trend analysis and support across the business (inc. Account Management)
• Broad, ad-hoc responsibilities in this high-growth team

What you'll bring to the table...

• Bookeeping or finance experience is required, ideally have previously used Xero
• An eye for detail and highly accurate in your work, you'll be efficient in dealing with stock management, costings and invoices
• Ideally some knowledge of inventory management systems
• Solid experience using Excel, data anlysis etc.
• A confident communicator
• Attention to detail and able to efficiently manage timeframes
• Adaptable and able to solve unforeseen problems when they arise
