The UK manufacturing industry has seen a sudden growth towards the end of the year, resulting in a number of new job vacancies becoming available across the industry. Recent news has suggested the economic climate in the UK is improving, and this reported growth across the manufacturing industry is an indication of a more positive outlook for the UK’s economy.

The UK seems to have been in a recession since 2005, but there are certain signs that the economy is getting better as unemployment rates drop and more job opportunities are on offer. The manufacturing sector has seen a continual growth, but there has been a sudden surge over the past few months. With the industry improving and becoming more stable, it is allowing more jobseekers to find work across the manufacturing field. It is estimated around 5,00 jobs are on offer each month- a positive step in the right direction for the economy.

With the manufacturing industry seemingly able to expand, it is expected that 2014 will see more jobs created and more investment being put into the sector. Earlier this year the UK’s economy saw a sudden growth of just under 1%, and the expanding manufacturing industry has only aided this economy growth.

Let’s hope these positive signs lead to a growing economy and more jobs on offer in 2014.
